Scope

For this project, I was challenged to create a brand identity, packaging, an environment, and more. The company I came up with is Bridöm Fresh. Bridöm Fresh is a faux organization that aims to fish and create sustainability while caring for people and the planet. Bridöm Fresh, a commercial fishing company, promotes industry responsibility in many ways. One of which, they not only sell the fresh, organic fish, but they also have a clean skincare line that is created using fish oil and more. 

Methodology

A great amount of competitive research, word mapping, and mood boarding went into this project. I ended up, after many iterations, with a simplified fish as the mark. It faces upwards, symbolizing moving towards the future and doing right by customers and the Earth. I also chose the typeface All Round Gothic for the logotype. This typeface family was chosen due to the curved lines which allude to nature and the ocean. Curved lines also tend to be associated with comfort. In regards to palette, I chose a blue and orange. These two colors were chosen due to their symbolic meanings and visual appeal. The color orange is associated with joy, strength, and attraction, all of which align with the goals of the company. The color blue is associated with stability, wisdom and the ocean, which provides the calming base to the complementary splash of orange. For the rest of the items, I aimed to clearly and effectively brand them.
